Southampton Community Band
Our Volunteer Roots
What an exciting history this band has enjoyed. Early in 1998, Dr. Gil Guglielmi and George Lynch founded this band by contacting old friends and posting “musicians needed” flyers on local community bulletin boards. Today, the band has over 60 musicians playing a varied repertoire of show tunes, marches and classical music for an enthusiastic audience.
Our organization was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Ever since its establishment, we have endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest.
That is why we are especially happy to find new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good in the world. Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!
Our 2022-2023 season is almost over. Get tickets now for our Springtime Salute concert and bring a current of former military member with you to enjoy this annual concert honoring their service.
