Southampton Community Band mission is to provide musical enjoyment, educational opportunities, and participation in a concert band setting available to all interested musicians and music lovers. To enrich the cultural environment, foster an appreciative knowledge of legitimate band literature, and encourage the development of musicians, regardless of age, gender, race, or ethnicity, through concerts and mentoring (side-by-side rehearsals). To promote a spirit of neighborhood involvement that will ensure a lasting fine arts legacy. We perform four concerts per year. Michael Regosch, director and principal conductor, joined the Southampton Community Band in the spring of 2005 as principal trombone. He earned degrees in Music Education and Music Theory from West Chester University, where he played trombone for the Golden Rams Marching Band, and the Statesmen and Criterions Jazz Ensembles.
Michael is an Elementary Band and Orchestra director for Centennial School District, where he also served as an assistant director of the William Tennent High School Marching Panther Band.
Marvin Feld - 2009 through 2015
Taught in Central Bucks School District for 34 years, served as the district music department chairman, published and served as a clinician, an adjudicator for Music in the Parks for 6 years, Director of the Doylestown Community Band for 23 years, and former treasurer and president of the Bucks County Music Educators Association.
